Braid chopping at Singpora Pattan, NoorBagh Srinagar | KNO

A fresh braid chopping incident was reported from Singpora Pattan in northern part of Kashmir on Thursday. The reports said that the braid choppers cut the braid of the local women in the wee hours of Thursday.

The people of the area are protesting against the incident and have blocked the national Srinagar-Muzaffarabad Highway at Singpora Pattan.

Earlier, the braid of 6th standard girl was chopped in Noor Bagh area of Srinagar. The girl was identified as Maria Fayaz, daughter of Fayaz Ahmad Wani.
